Meet the Staff
Executive Director
Paul and Melanie met at a church youth function and shortly after in June 1988 they married and moved to North Carolina. Melanie drove for an dental lab and Paul worked construction; they both also worked second jobs at Shoney’s restaurant. Their next move took them to Georgia where Paul surrendered to full time Christian ministry. They moved back to North Carolina to school to begin their journey toward a Masters Degree. Not long after starting school, Emily was born in 1991. After Paul completed his Associates Degree, they moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area for additional schooling. In 1992, while they served as youth ministers in Irving, Texas, Demetri was born. Paul received his Bachelors Degree in Pastoral Ministries from Dallas Baptist University in 1995; that same year Marlee Kaye was born. The next year, Zeke was born. While still enrolled in seminary, Paul and Melanie started pastoring Lighthouse Christian Fellowshipin Azle, TX in 1997. Paul completed ten years of schooling in May 1999, receiving a Masters Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Paul and Melanie served six great years as senior pastor at Lighthouse until they answered the call to move to Restoration Ranch in 2003. Paul is the Executive Director of the Ranch. He has overseen all the building that has taken place here. His projects include the ministry office, Pioneer Place, and Dream Builders Lodge. Besides building, Paul also represents the ministry in local and foreign mission outreaches and preaches conferences for churches across the nation. Melanie helps keep the ministry office running smoothly. All their children have a part in the responsibility of making sure things are done at the Ranch, as well. Each summer, their whole family enjoys getting to travel to and be a part of the Family Reunions for World Wide.

Chief Financial Officer
Thom and Kelley met in 1988 in Asheville, NC. They were high school sweethearts and got married in March of 1991. In 1993 Kelley graduated with honors from Montreat Anderson College, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Child Development. After Kelley graduated they made the move to Oklahoma City where Thom began college at Oklahoma City University to play golf for the school. Kelley began working as a Child Life Specialist for Children's Hospital of Oklahoma. In March of 1996, Shelby Nicole was born and they made the move back to Asheville, NC. There Thom graduated from Mars Hill College with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management/Business and completed his eligibility for golf in the NCAA. Kelley worked a short time at Mission Hospital then became a full time Mom. In the Fall 1997 Thom took on two careers, he began working as a Golf Professional at Mountain Air CC in Burnsville, NC and in the same month took over as the Head Golf Coach for Mars Hill College. Thom spent 5 years with Mars Hill College then began concentrating on his Golf Professional status. Thomas Jakob (Jake) was born in April 2000. After getting through three levels of PGA schooling, in 2003 he decided to leave Mountain Air and go play golf for a living. In early 2004, Thom and Kelley moved to the ranch to concentrate on Thom's golfing career. After a few up and more down years on the mini tours, Thom decided to settle down and play a role in the Ranch's development. With a background in management and business, the logical fit was a financial position at Restoration Ranch. In June of 2005 Kadie Jewel was born. Shortly after Thom got off the road and became the Chief Financial Officer for Restoration Ranch.
Director of Grounds
Jose Martinez has been on staff at Restoration Ranch since 2003. He has been a great asset to the ranch over the last four years. Jose takes care of the horses and all the grounds. We have all grown to love and count Jose as family.
