April 2024 Update

March definitely came in like a lion!  However, it brought spring, so this is good. It’s time for vegetable and flower planting, which I love.  Our grandson, Jake, has been a giant help in planting and getting our yard looking beautiful.

From the middle of February to the end of March we have had people here. Lots of counseling, fellowship and being with family.

Paul and I celebrated our 81st and 77th birthdays with all our children, grandchildren, and greats.  We had a house full…no, they didn’t all stay here.  Forty people with 12 under the age of three. It was a blessed time.  We were missing Cody, as he was in Norway for work.

We love Catalyst Community Church where our son Paul Edward pastors.  We had a wonderful night to bless their staff and also their praise team.  What a great group of people.  We also had five couples in for counseling.  In between all of this Paul flew to Spokane for Management Team Meeting.

Paul and I took off for Galveston to rest for a few days.  Frank and Lynn Radford met us there.  It was a time to do NOTHING!  Paul loves the ocean, so it was good for him.

Our daughter, Gretchen, has a heart for widows, since she has been one for three years, now.  She has a wonderful website, mgrministries.org.  She is having her first widows conference here in May.  If you know anyone who is interested in attending, please go to her website and sign them up.  It’s free…just have to get to Richmond, Texas.

As I write, Paul is in Hawaii for the first WWDB Leadership Weekend.  I opted to stay home as I don’t want to cough on everyone. We will be in Vegas the weekend of the 11th.  April is busy, busy with leaderships this month.

We are looking forward to a full spring and summer.  We ask for prayers for health and safety.
