October 2022 update
Busy, busy time in Tacoma, Washington, and Las Vegas, Nevada, in the month of October. We loved it! I believe Kelley, Paul, and I signed books for 12 hours in each FED (Free Enterprise Day honoring our military, freedom, and entrepreneurship) Function. Thom, Kadie, and our secretary, Sylvia, stood on their feet the entire time while working our table. So thankful for all the help.
We are so thankful that we are getting Christian literature into the hands of so many people. This is why we write books. We want to get truth into as many as we can. We love the changed lives; lives now have hope, peace, and broken marriages have been mended. I wish everyone could stand by our table to hear the stories of so many who have been helped by our marriage book and the other books we have written. God is so faithful to use us to minister to so many. Hallelujah!
In September, we flew to North Carolina for a week. The colors were just beginning to change. It was beautiful. Thom, Kelley, and Kadie were also there with us. Sylvia and her sons also joined us in NC. They had never been, so it was a new experience for the entire family.
Gretchen had a little bad news in September, but she is doing well. She had surgery to remove an early cancerous spot in her breast. She will have to have another for the margins to be cleared. Please keep her in your prayers. She also needs wisdom as she gets her 501(c)3 ministry started. She and Mark were planning this before he went Home, so Gretchen is going to continue this. God is already using her to lead a Grief Share in Mansfield.
By the time you read this, we will have welcomed our 11th great-grandbaby into the world. We will welcome our 12th in December and our 13th in April. Truly a blessing from God!
This is one of my favorite verses: Pro. 22:6
“Point your kids in the right direction—
when they're old they won't be lost.”
It doesn’t say they won’t stray. It says they won’t be lost. God knows where they are, and He will be the One who brings them home.
