May 2022 Update

It’s already the middle of May 2022.  So much has changed in our lives.  We never imagined we would make these huge changes, but God has His own plans which are usually different from ours.

The biggest change is our move from the ranch in Midfield to our ranch in Richmond.  Yes, we are still in Texas.  Yes, we are still doing the same thing we’ve done for years.  We just changed geographical locations.  The wonderful part about this is that we are just seven minutes from Thom and Kelley and 10 minutes from Paul and Melanie.  At let me add, not far from five of our grandchildren.  Gretchen and Meagan are just four hours away, so that’s a plus.

Gretchen moved to Mansfield where her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren live.  I miss her being next door, but God knew she needed to be near her children, especially now that she has a brand-new grandson, Ace Camden.  She’s just an hour flight to Shane and Marissa and that precious grandson, Daniel.

We are all settled in our new place, and we are loving it. We are less than an hour from the airport.  We can take a limousine and not have to fight traffic.

Paul has been to all the Spring Leaderships for Worldwide.  I chose to stay home and get settled.  It’s a lot to move after being in Midfield for 22 years of our lives, especially at our age.  However, we are so glad we made this decision.  As a dear friend said, “We didn’t downsize I rightsized!

We are looking forward to the family reunions in July an August.  Seems like an eternity since we’ve all been together.

Paul has a new book coming out for the fall is Dream Doers.  My book is titled Apples of Gold in Pictures of Silver.  We have been working on these for quite a while, so it will be so good to have them printed and into your hands.

My word for this year is KINDNESS.  I’ve been tested a few times, but I am determined to be kind no matter what.

Blessings, Billie Kaye
