Thom received his education/degree in Business/Sports Management at Oklahoma City University and Mars Hill University. After getting his education and completing his eligibility in the NCAA he took a job at Mountain Air country Club as a Golf Professional. He and his family moved to Texas in 2003 so he could compete on the mini tours. After a few years on the road Thom decided to settle down and play a role in the Ranch's development. With a background in management and business, the logical fit was a position as Chief Financial Officer. Out of necessity his position expanded to become the Executive Director as well as CFO. He and Kelley were married in 1991 and have three children, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and two grand children.

Renee received her degree in Mental Health from Southwest Virginia College in Cedar Bluff, VA. She moved to Texas in 1994. After years of traveling with a Healthcare Company, Renee settled down in Richmond, TX with her husband and two daughters. She joined the staff at The Ranch in 2023
