JUNE 2025

We are at the end of June!  We are here in North Carolina at our condo in the mountains.  The weather is wonderful….A little different than Texas weather.  

      We got to North Carolina at the end of May and will enjoy our time here to get away from the summer heat in Texas.  Now, I enjoy the south Texas humidity and heat, but Paul is not a lover of the weather there. 

      We had our P.E.T. Ministries, Inc. board meeting at the Virginian in Bristol, Virginia at Nicewonder Farm and Winery.  What a beautiful place to spend a few days.  All but one of our board members was able to make the trip.  We missed Derik (Leanne), but we know his heart was with us.  Chip and Dana Jenkins, Richard and Amy Hillis, Paul and Melanie, Thom and Kelley, our secretary and her hubby, Chad and Renee Gay, were with us for this occasion. We are so appreciative of our board and their willingness to be a part of our ministry.  

      The guys played golf at the Virginian while the girls and I had spa appointments.  The fellowship and food were top notch.  I’m sure we will be going back at some time.

      Paul is excited about his new book that will be released in October, Created for More.  Kelley has her fourth book on Lumi, Letters from Lumi, that will be available, and we will be offering a beautiful box, with stickers, with all four of her books.
